Honestly do not know what this would mean to the gaming site itself. I do not think it will be taking down since its being sold off for about $100 million. Not only is the gaming site being sold off but also other entertainment sites associated with it: Ask Men and GameSpy for example.
At the moment it seems like at Break Media and Say Media are both interested in acquiring the site.
Will this bring a new format to the way IGN brings gaming news? So many questions so few answers. Let us watch how this story unfolds.
