City of Stormwind
The players suspected of hacking were jumping from server to server taking the players out for no reason. Suspected players were all level one characters so their true identities wouldn't be discovered. The one identified in the video was a level one priest However one of the alleged culprits actually uploaded a video as well on how to this insta kill hack which most likely also led to the discovery of who was behind them.
According to the Huffington Post Stormwind was not the only city hit also Tarren Mill, Ragnaros, Draenor and Twisting Nether for a couple of hours. This must have been really aggravating for the WoW players. I would have been annoyed as well.
Not to fret though, Blizzard is already working on patching the insta kill so not to be used by anyone, making it safe to roam the lands once again.
How do you feel about the attack on the WoW community? How should the hackers be dealt with?
