The beta will become available during the winter season for Playstation Plus members. The beta will most likely include multiplayer portions of the game. You will be able to align yourself with the god of your choice and go head to head with other teams.
The new trailer for God of War Ascension was also released on YouTube. Details for those players planning to align themselves with the god Zeus on the multiplayer portion of the game. The abilities you will have ranging from his lightning powers to how you will you assist your teammates. At the moment the God of War link given at the end of the trailer sends you straight back to the Playstation store, for me at least.
Once you get in to the site there you will be given an opportunity to play The Rise of the Warrior, social game, for your chance to participate in the beta if you are not a Playstation Plus subscriber. Rise of the Warrior gives you a set of social tasks that you must complete to unlock early access to the beta, 30 days of Playstation Plus for free, and more in game unlocks for the March release of the game.
